Buy Omron HJ 112 Digital Pocket Pedometer or get more information about Omron HJ 112 Digital Pocket Pedometer. The best I've used 5 vote for Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer
I've tried and been disappointed in other pedometers. Not so with this one. It's accurate, versatile, and, well, cute. We have two of them in our household, competing against each other to see which winds up with the most steps at the end of each day. So they get a lot of use, often well over 10k a cycle. Whether we walk on straight paths or forest trails, up hill or down, the Omrons know what we're doing and keep track faithfully. It's simple to set up, seems to withstand the occasional fall from grace onto hard surfaces, and has a memory for what you did yesterday and the couple days before. A healthy addition to your waistline.Product Feature
1. Unique dual sensor technology means the pedometer can be carried in your pocket or bag
2. Accurately measures your steps, as well as aerobic steps and minutes
3. Also measures calorie consumption during your workout, as well as the distance you've traveled
4. Easy-to-read LCD display
5. Comes with a detachable belt holder and security strap

Pocket pedometer
Amazon.com Product Description
The Omron HJ-112 Pocket Pedometer is an advanced, high-tech pedometer that--thanks to unique dual sensor technology--can be carried in your pocket or bag. Now you can just drop your pedometer in your purse to find out how much exercise you get in a typical day of work, errands, and other tasks. Of course, you can also attach it to your belt like a traditional pedometer.
A large, easy-to-read display helps you keep tabs on your workout. View larger.
The HJ-112 accurately measures your steps, as well as aerobic steps and minutes. You can also use it to measure calories burned during your workout, as well as the distance you've traveled.
The device's large, easy-to-read LCD display can separately display aerobic steps and minutes walked more than 10 minutes continuously, so you always have the information you need right in front of you. Meanwhile, a seven day history lets you review a full week of exercise. The device also resets at midnight automatically so it's ready to go every morning. Of course, the device can also function as a handy and highly accurate clock. It also comes with a detachable belt holder and security strap so it's always close at hand.
The HJ-112 is powered by a replaceable lithium battery (CR2032) that will last six months when used for walking 10,000 steps a day. The device measures approximately 2.8 x 2.1 x .6 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 1.1 ounces (not including battery).

Love this pedometer! If you want to really keep track of what you walk during the day I would highly recommend this pedometer. I got it on a whim just to see how far I walked during the day just at home. It has forced me to do a little more and more everyday as far as aerobic exercise. :2010-09-18 03:42:30
Cant walk enough now! A nutritionist recommended we walk 10000 steps (5 miles in our steps) a day and mentioned the Omron pedometer she uses. Glancing at the pedometer and viewing the steps weve taken during the day encourages us to get out and make those 10000 daily. This pedometers memory features are great too. You can keep up with a weeks worth of how many steps you take how far you walk how many aerobic steps you take etc. The only drawback is that when the battery goes so does the memory. You have to start all over with a new battery. But thats something we definitely can live with! Weve purchased several of these for friends. :2010-09-17 01:30:41
Warning No Reset Button This seems to be an accurate pedometer but the new model lacks a reset button. If you want to reset your steps for a certain event or excercise walk you cant without resseting the entire unit. I called Omron about this and they stated that for some reason the version which is being sold now lacks a reset button. The new model is called the HJ-112N. For some people not having a reset button might not matter but many people really like to be able to reset the unit for various activites throughout the day. You can reset the entire unit but when you do that you lose all of your data. I bought two of these and both are being returned. :2010-09-16 03:50:02
Great easy to use and wear device for accountability with exercise Recently my sister and I got together and she was wearing a Omron pedometer to keep track of her daily exercise activities. She has lost over 40 lbs and attributes much of her success to this little device. She walks at least 11000 steps/day either with exercise walking or running "in place" to achieve this goal. Its small and light and easily clips on to slacks shorts skirts and even hooks on your underwear if you wear a dress. Its easy to use automatically returns to "0" at midnight and makes you accountable to yourself! I love it and already see a difference with results in my own exercise routine. :2010-09-16 00:41:37
My constant companion This is truly the best pedometer ever made I am never without it. I check it a few times during the day to see how far I have walked or how many calories I have burned and it makes me accountable to myself to get the maximum exercise out of every day. It does work no matter how it is oriented in my pocket. I would highly recommend this pedometer!! :2010-09-16 00:41:37
walkalotsc Have tried 3 pedometers this one is by far the best for a small investment. I average 10-12 miles 5 days a week. Once I got my step distance figured and set in the pedometer - its right on the money. Only down side is I walk different lengths a few times a day and keep record if you do the same - keep a mini calculator near by. Otherwise - a great Pedometer. :2010-09-16 00:41:37
omron pedometer I have had several pedometers some of which did not last some which were not accurate and some which kept resetting themselves without warning. So far this is the best pedometer I have ever had. It does everything it claims it can do. It has been extremely dependable. I keep track of every step I take for the Move program at the VA and average approximately 12000 steps per day. This pedometer has yet to miss a step. :2010-09-16 00:41:37
Very bad experience with product and Omron I enjoyed this pedometer for the first few weeks I owned it. Then after about a month the clip broke. I mostly kept the pedometer in my shoulder bag clipped to the thin edge of a cosmetic bag for stability. At home I did clip it to a pants pocket. I dont feel I was rough on the product at all and I was very surprised when it broke after just 5 weeks of use. I went to take it from my bag and the clip simply disintegrated in my hand.
I didnt find the pedometer useful without the clip. I tried putting it in my bag without a clip but I found it wasnt as stable and the measurements did not appear to be accurate. I found it too bulky to keep in my pocket.
I looked online to see if I could order a replacement clip and if other people had had this problem. Thats when I saw that MANY people had this problem and that in most cases the clip broke fairly quickly. People did comment that Omron provided one courtesy replacement clip for free so I contacted them. They got :2010-09-16 00:41:37
